Eligibility for Scholarship Seats

  • For Merit : 90 % marks for PCM with not less than 10,000 rank in the entrance examination.
  • For Sports : Above 60% marks in PCM and First place in District level and up to Third level in state level for Badminton (shuttle or Ball), Volleyball and or Basketball.
  • Scholarship benefits : Tuition Fee Rs 8,600 for one Year and Free Hostel rent.
  • Admission fee, Caution deposit, university fees, other hostel expenses etc. are additional as applicable.

Eligibility

Eligibility for Management Quota Admission

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subject with atleast 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for Management Quota Admission.

Eligibility for NRI Quota Admission

  • Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • KEAM (Kerala Entrance Exam ) rank is not mandatory to apply under this quota.
  • An NRI can sponsor the children or dependents.

Eligibility for Government Quota Admission

  • B.Tech admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and AICTE.
  • Candidates for admission to the B. Tech. programme shall have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Plus 2), Kerala or CBSE, ISC, ICSE, VHSE or any other examination considered equivalent to the above-mentioned ones.
  • Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subject with atleast 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for Govt allotments and and the marks in the qualifying examination subject to the relaxations allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.

Documents to be Furnished at the Time of Admission

  • Admit card of Entrance Examination
  • Print out of the last Phase of Allotment Memo received from CEE Website. (Applicable for Govt. allotted candidates)
  • Fee receipt of Rs.10,000/- to Controller for Entrance Examination. (Applicable for Govt. allotted candidates)
  • Plus Two Exam Mark List and Pass Certificate (where applicable) in original
  • Tenth level Examination certificate in original for proof of age
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) in original from the Institution last studied
  • Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied
  • Candidate Mark Datasheet of the Entrance Examination
  • Four passport size and Two stamp size (colour) photographs
  • Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner in the relevant format given in Annexure of the KEAM Prospectus
  • Community and Income Certificate in original for candidates allotted by Commissioner for Entrance Examination in SC/ST/OEC categories

Merit and Sports Scholarship for Management Quota Admissions

A Scholarship recipient student shall satisfy the following conditions for the continuation of the scholarship in the next semester

  • Should have more than 90% attendance in the previous semester
  • Should not be involved in any disciplinary action from the college or hostel
  • Should have passed all the subjects of the previous semester with a SGPA of 6.5 and above
  • If any of the above conditions are violated, he/she will not be eligible for scholarship. Their fees will be regular tution fees, threafter.

Fee Payment Process

  • Last date for fee collection will be on the ‘Registration Day’ of ODD semester in every year. For the first year the last date of fee payment will be on the Day of Admission.
  • Student registration will not be done if the fees is not paid in the stipulated time.

Fee Refund Policy

The refund of fees in connection with admission cancellation will be in accordance with the regulations issued by Government of Kerala/ AICTE and UGC in time to time.
