The MOU is signed for conducting the Industrial level training and providing certification for Non Destructive Testing(ASNT Level II), QA/QC & Piping/Pipieline Engineering for the students/faculties of the department
Kerala State Electronic Development Corporation Limited (Keltron)
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), initiated by KELTRON and STC.
Objective
- Impart Training and skill development for students and staff.
- Impart internship for selected UG students based on availability of the projects at KELTRON.
Metrolla Steels, Muvattupuzha
Metrolla Steels Ltd-Muvattupuzha is engaged in manufacturing of TMT steel manufacturer with most advanced research, design and development in the field of manufacturing TMT steel and related fields.
Both Department of Mechanical Engg., STCET- Chengannur and Metrolla Steels Ltd-Muvattupuzha shall encourage interactions between the Engineers, Scientists, faculty members and students of both the organizations
Kelachandra Machines,Chingavanam
Kelachandra Machines-Chingavanam is mainly involved in fabrication & machining of large components, heavy duty industrial gear wheels etc for the rubber industry, Ship building, Cement plants, Sugar processing, Power plant engineering – Wind Energy, Hydro-electric projects, Process industry, Space, Aeronautics, and Defence.
Skill Delivery Platform,Kerala
The Skill Delivery Platform, Kerala (SDPK) is a unique initiative of Dept. of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of Kerala implemented through the Special purpose Vehicle, KSITL and ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) as the operating partner. The vision of Skills Delivery platform (SDPK) is to impart industry relevant employability skills training programme to Engineering, Polytechnic and graduate students across the state.
The SDPK is conceptualized using State-of-the-art Technology (Cisco Telepresence solution) enabled Learning platform that will enable remote delivery of high-quality skills programme delivered by Industry. SDPK will connect 150 Hi-Tech classrooms in the Engineering colleges/Polytechnic institutes/Community Skills Parks in the state and the Industry Hubs such as Technopark, Infopark and Cyberpark. The highlight of SDPK is partnering with industry to deliver world-class skill development training programmes which will help students from all branches of engineering to interact with industry experts and get trained.

Electro Mechanical industry is growing rapidly in construction sector. Even though the growth rate of the industry and the demand for the application are more, the technically competent & experienced consultants, who are capable of designing technically superior systems with optimum budget, are less in numbers in market to give proper technical solutions to clients.
MoU IS ASSIGNED TO GET HANDS ON AS WELL AS THORETICAL TRAINING FOR STUDENTS AND PROVIDE PLACEMENT OPPURTUNITIES IN THE FIELD OF Marine, Oil & Gas, HVAC systems in ships, off-shore platforms, rigs and other marine applications across the world.
